This test includes:

Serum Estradiol: This is the principal Female hormone in body. Low levels may indicate poor ovarian function.

FSH: This hormone stimulates the ovary to produce eggs. The level of FSH increases in the body when the ovaries quit working. All those hormone levels vary with the days of the menstrual cycle.

LH: Luteinizing hormone is a hormone that helps regulate testosterone production in men and the menstrual cycle in women. High-level luteinizing hormones are seen when ovaries quit working (menopause).

Prolactin: This hormone stimulates milk production in the body. High levels may cause milky discharge from the breast and may lead to infertility.
